The Best Skiing in the World

If you love to ski you most likely hope to take a ski
holiday to a world class resort at some point. There are
several to consider. Take some time to plan a trip, be
determined, and you can get there.
Aspen in Colorado is one such coveted skiing destination.
There is a run there for skiers of all levels on one of the
four mountains. If you~re an expert skier you~ll want to
try one of the back runs in the wild terrain of the largest
mountain.
North America actually has several great ski resorts.
Quebec, Canada is the site of one of them. In the eastern
sector of the country, Mont-Tremblant just had a billion
dollar facelift. Once you finish your day of skiing, be
sure and go to Montreal. It~s one of the most sophisticated
cities in the world and rich in history. It will provide
many activities for you to enjoy.
There are two other excellent places to ski in Canada.
Banff and Lake Louise are must-visits. Both offer great
skiing and outstanding natural beauty. They are only 25
miles apart so it would be easy to experience both areas.
For those of you who want to travel to Europe to take in
some sightseeing along with your skiing you~ll want to put
Cortina in Italy on your list of skiing destinations. This
ski resort in the Alps was host to the 1956 winter Olympic
games and continues to be a popular destination for European
skiers.
Kitzbuhel, Austria is one of the most lively ski resorts
you~ll ever find. It actually hosted the Winter Olympic
games twice; 1964 and 1976. Its nickname is ~Pearl of the
Alps~ since it~s such a treasure. Skiers have been going
there since at least 1892.
The top skiing destination in the world is Whistler/
Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada. The village of
Whistler is part of the delight of skiing at this resort,
since it is open year round and holds great charm with its
many cafes and restaurants, of which there are over 100.
After a day spent skiing the slopes of the mountain you~ll
be able to indulge in dining and dancing in the village
before getting some rest for your next day of skiing.
Start researching the many fabulous destinations to ski all
over the world. You will need time to plan your ski
vacation and choose your resort.
